Yet another phone has joined the Galaxy family as the Samsung Galaxy S Advance just became official. While this phone may not be a power monster it does come with the modest specs of a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 16 GB of memory, 768 MB of RAM, and a 480 * 800 Super AMOLED display( note that this does not include a + and so is outdated hardware). To finish off this package is a 5 MP camera with a 1.3 MP one in front for video-chatting and HSPA with speeds up to 14.4 Mbps. The Galaxy S Advance will ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it is unseen yet whether or not it will get and update to Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone will come with all of Samsung's apps and will be released on a gradual basis starting with Russia. While this isn't exactly the best smartphone it might be perfect for first-time buyers of a smartphone.
