Amazon announces Q4 2011 results: sales jump to $17.43 billion

After Toshiba comes Amazon, Amazon itself has now announced it's Q4 earnings which come in as a 35 percent increase in net sales at $17.43 billion but net income dropped 45 percent to $631 million. But to soften this crushing blow sales of kindle devices tripled over the holidays or so says the company and sales for the full year increased 41 percent to $48.08 billion. Through all of this haze Amazon seems to be doing pretty fine compared to other companies.
